SmartKnitKIDS Review & Giveaway!!

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

Have you heard of SmartKnitKIDS? I have followed them on twitter for quite some time, but I only just got to try their socks for the first time recently!

I love the socks - they are thick, warm, they don't have any seems for tiny toes to get "caught" in, they have no heel so kids can put them on without needing help, they come in different "styles" (crew, ankle and knee-high), and they come in five colors (pink, blue, white, purple and black)!!

Things I might change or do differently: I would add more colors - or at least green! And, I would add rubber gribs so that kids don't slip in the socks (though, that might defeat the purpose of the SmartKnitKIDS being heel-less).

J loved the socks as I thought he would! He loves socks - colors, prints, you name it - he thinks they are fun!
C also enjoyed the socks! He could (mostly) get them on by himself. But, he doesn't really like shoes so he kept slipping! So, we took the socks off so he wouldn't crack his head open!
I loved them because they have the size "stamped" on the bottom of the socks!! The Mom in me thinks that is so practical!

From SmartKnitKIDS:

SmartKnitKIDS Socks are 100% truly seamless; they have “No Seams to Bug Ya!” A truly seam free sock is great for kids with Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, or for those who simply cannot stand annoying sock seams. As well as being completely seamless, our socks are also form-fitting. This ensures that there are no wrinkles or bunches. A form-fitting design makes SmartKnitKIDS perfect for infant socks. No matter how much your little one may wiggle, the socks don’t come off. SmartKnitKIDS Seamless Socks do not have a heal so they can easily and confidently be slipped on. The heal-less design also keeps your child from out growing their socks as fast. For more information about SmartKnitKIDS, please visit us online at http://www.smartknitkids.com/.

My Ultimate Family Vacation!!

Sponsored By

Cheerios® is giving you the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, your ultimate family vacation. As part of a paid promotion for their “Do What You Love” Sweepstakes, Cheerios® is sponsoring my post today about what my ultimate family vacation would be. Read mine, Enter the Sweepstakes for a chance to actually win your own fantasy family trip or one of a bunch of other great prizes.

If I could go absolutely anywhere on an ultimate family vacation, I would rent a vacation house boat for a week!! Can you imagine how much fun that could be?! We would vacation on Lake Travis (near Austin, TX). And, we would have to have a huge boat, maybe this Tango Houseboat (assuming, of course, that there was no price limit)!!

It would be a vacation for the whole family - my husband, two kids and I. We would also bring my parents, sister and her fiance. If my husband's mom wanted to fly down from Washington, she would be more than welcome!! 8 or 9 people on a house boat - what a load of fun! :D

For things to do on this house boat ... board games, card games, swimming, and I would hope that there would be a slide off the house boat so we could slide into the water!!

What would you make for dinner if you were on a house boat? My only "for sure" meal would be spaghetti and meatballs!

Typing this up has given me the urge to take a vacation! I think my husband and I might take the kids camping in our backyard this weekend! :D

Don't forget to enter the “Do What You Love” Sweepstakes, for a chance to win your own ultimate family vacation. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.
